As dance is

a universal form of communication and artistic expression that has been a part of human culture for thousands of years. We are glad to invite you to be part of this vast worldwide project.
Dance serves multiple purposes beyond simply providing entertainment. It can be used for storytelling, ritualistic ceremonies, social bonding, exercise, and personal expression. Through body movements and gestures, individuals can effectively communicate their emotions, ideas, and narratives. The song “Wajo (DANCE)” was created to unite young people from all over the world, while also celebrating the dance culture of Southwestern Nigeria, where the singer was raised. The African War Dance, a segment of “Wajo (DANCE),” is set to be released by the end of this year, showcasing the intricate dance steps of individuals from Southeastern Nigeria. We anticipate the participation of renowned dance groups.

As the war continues to rage in Ukraine and various parts of Africa, the youths in these war-torn countries defy the odds to become part of WAJO (DANCE). We eagerly await the arrival of genuine and innovative dancers showcasing unprecedented dance moves. We are spreading this movement to schools, colleges, and the streets, welcoming all those who wish to express themselves through dance to join this grand endeavor. Come and join us.
