I can say a few things out loud that became a thing of the past:- the daily chaos, drama, and scandal that enveloped the White House during the last administration. Although the condition of living under Biden’s administration has gotten really bad, it began under President Trump’s watch; Covid-19 is partially to blame.

On Biden’s foreign policy, I have not noticed any bold change. Most of the policies enacted by the former President are still there. I am worried that the former President’s immigration policies are still in place after Biden’s one year in power. 

In Nigeria, for instance, folks pass through hell to obtain a visa to the United States. Trump’s administration banned the use of drop boxes to renew Visas; hence, you have to go back on the line should your Visa expire. I have taken up this issue with the State department so often without them giving me a concise answer.

 Overall, I believe Trump was a strong leader. He was able to hold the Republican party together. However, from what I have seen of the Democrats lately, the party needs a Donald Trump to keep their members serving in the house of congress together. It is clear enough for all to see that many of these Congressmen and women are for themselves. For instance, in the Senate, Joe Manchin and Senator Senema may take a shot at the presidency in 2024. The two senators have brought Biden’s agenda to a halt.

The Democratic party of today is a house divided against itself. As I put this little piece together, it was reported that the Democrats in the Senate failed to pass the much-needed voting rights bill. It was a back-to-back loss as they could not change the filibuster rules, and this could potentially doom the Biden administration’s agenda.

As the world’s most significant economic leader, one year is not enough for the President to carry out his policies and turn the tidal wave around; however, morning, they say, shows the beginning of the day. I will be watching and praying for the three remaining years to be a huge success. Unfortunately, Americans may punish the Democrats during this year’s oncoming mid-term election. The democrats are walking on a very tight rope; it will take a miracle to save both houses from going to the GOP.
